Are Presidencies only available to do this… I am a YM Specialist and do not see the option to upload receipts? Reply

Yes, just organization presidencies. They need to approve your request and they can submit the receipts for you. Reply

Can members request reimbursement for Stake callings? Or can they only request reimbursements from their Ward? Reply

LDS365 on September 13, 2021 at 6:33 pm From stakes as well. Reply Melody Moore on November 15, 2021 at 9:28 am

How can I change my preference to receive checks instead of a direct reimbursement account. I never set one up. And prefer checks. Thanks Reply

LDS365 on November 15, 2021 at 2:48 pm Just talk with your ward clerk. Reply Lindsay C on November 29, 2021 at 9:04 pm

I submitted a receipt on the LDS tolls app. It looked like it went through but then disappeared after a few seconds. So I did it a second time and the same thing happened. Did I submit it accidentally twice it did it not submit at all? Is there no way to view any past reimbursements requests I’ve made? I’m so confused whether or not it went through. Also it never asked how to pay me back, does it just know this info already from tithing? Reply

In your church online account, you have to set up a reimbursement account, which is currently located directly underneath your Donations account, in Settings, in the Donations page on your profile. If you never set up a reimbursement account, the ward will have no choice but issue to you checks for reimbursements. Reply

Kelsie on January 17, 2022 at 12:28 pm This must be out of date. I have the newest member tools and these options don’t exist. Reply Michael Mealey on February 2, 2022 at 9:34 am

I’ve done this many times but just went to try now and found that while I still can submit, the categories listed are very limited and not what I need Reply

Only members of organizational presidencies, the clerk, and bishopric members have the tools to submit reimbursement requests. However, like with electronic donations, members must set up their accounts to receive reimbursements, as well. You can do this by selecting Settings, on your Donations page in your online profile. Here, you input your bank account info where you want the Church to send reimbursement funds. The Church cannot assume the same account you use to pay donations is the account you want to use to receive reimbursements. Thus, you must set it up separately. Continue scrolling down the Settings applet until you find “Reimbursement Account.” Requests for reimbursements continue to be set up through organizational presidencies or ward clerk or bishopric members, but with a reimbursement account set up, they can now send those funds electronically and not by check. David A Ellis on February 8, 2022 at 1:09 pm When I go to finance its just a blank white screen. I have already reinstalled Tools too Reply Adam H. Berkey on February 27, 2022 at 11:02 pm

This feature is only available for Bishopric members, Ward clerks, and organizational presidencies, to administer. Still, any member who wants to receive electronic reimbursements must set up his/her reimbursement account info in their Donations page on the Church website. You can always use your web browser and the Church website when Tools is not working. I just tried it myself a second ago and couldn’t get past Finance/Payment Requests. Then seconds later I was able to get passed that to be able to select a person to reimburse. Reply

Is there a way to view historical payment requests? I submitted a payment request and it was paid, but when the clerk went back to find the invoice for the items, he could not locate it. Reply

What is the best way for stake seminary classes and supervisors to submit their receipts? Neither the high councilman or the supervisor has access to submit receipts. Reply

I am the RS president. I know how to submit electronically for reimbursement from the RS category. What if I need reimbursement from another category (like from a ward general fund for a funeral)? I only see the option to request from RS category. Reply

You would either need someone from the bishopric (including a clerk) to submit the request for you, or have the clerk grant you access to the fund you want to request funds from. The clerk can grant access to any budget to any org presidency (mostly). Reply
